The Children's Ministry staff and volunteers are so excited that you've decided to check out this ministry.  We want to help you find where you can use your God-given gifts to invest in the lives of children.

First, let us ease your mind about a few things.

You don't have to be an expert!

Every person in Children's Ministry has one thing in common: a passion for children.  If you have a heart to love God and a desire to work with children, then you have the two basic ingredients necessary to become a leader.  You do not need a degree in early childhood development or elementary education to be a great leader in Children's Ministry.

You don't need all the time in the world!

You can successfully minister to children with a minimal time commitment.  We have many ways that you can help kids in a time frame that will work for you!  During the weekend services, we have opportunity in the Nursery, Sunday School Substitutes and Children's Church.  On Wednesday evenings there's an opportunity to get involved in the AWANA Program and on Thursday evenings there's an opportunity to help out with Divorce Care.

You will not be alone!

For Children's Church we provide teen helpers and curriculum.  For AWANA we offer a small training session and for all other ministries we provide easy-to-teach curriculum.

If you would like to volunteer in the Children's Ministry, you need to fill out a Ministry Volunteer Application.  After your application has been approved, you will need to view a Sexual Misconduct Prevention video before actually working with the children.
