KIDS HEALTH:

This is a well-child program.  For the protection of all the children in our ministry, we cannot accept a child with a runny nose, fresh cold (four days or less), fever, rash, persistent cough, diarrhea or any other signs of illness.  Thank you in advance for helping us keep our classroom a healthy place for all.

UPON ARRIVAL:

A teacher will meet you as you enter.  We ask that if you are new and plan on making this your home church, you fill out a registration card upon arriving.  We will then enter your child into our database so the teachers can check them in on a weekly basis.  Visitors can just sign their child's name, and who they came with, on the roster.

WORSHIP TIME 1st AND 2nd GRADES:

All kids, grades 1st and 2nd, gather in one room for 15 minutes of worship time.  If you arrive late to your child's classroom and there is not a teacher waiting, we will be in room 206.  However, we will strive to do our best to make sure there is an adult in your child's room

WORSHIP TIME 3rd THRU 5th GRADES:

These kids meet in the 5th grade classroom (room 203) for worship time after they have checked in with their teacher.  In case you arrive late for class, there will be a teacher in your classroom ready to check you in and then have your child gather with the other kids.

LESSON TIME:

The kids will learn a Bible story from our Gospel Light Curriculum, which helps them learn about Jesus' role in our lives.  They will be encouraged to participate in discussions, skits and Bible memorization that will help them in their character development and spiritual growth.

Good Friends

OFFERING:

Our church supports two children through Compassion International:  one in Haiti and the other in India.  We feel it's important that kids learn how to tithe at an early age so any amount they can bring each week is an answer to prayer.  We receive letters from these kids once a quarter and we encourage our kids to write back or draw pictures.  We do take some time in class to do this, but they can do it from home and bring it in.

PICK-UP PROCEDURES:

          1st and 2nd Grades:

We would like the parents to pick up their child from the classroom immediately at the conclusion of Sunday School so our teachers can gather up their kids.  Please make sure they have any personal items with them so they don't end up in "Lost and Found".

          3rd thru 5th Grades:

These kids are released at the conclusion of Sunday School to find their parents or pick up younger siblings.  It is not necessary for parents to pick them up unless the parent has instructed the teacher that they would like to.  Please make sure they have any personal item with them so they don't end up in "Lost and Found".
