KIDS HEALTH:

This is a well-child program.  For the protection of all the children in our ministry, we cannot accept a child with a runny nose, fresh cold (four days or less), fever, rash, persistent cough, diarrhea or any other signs of illness.  Thank you in advance for helping us keep our classroom a healthy place for all.

UPON ARRIVAL:

A teacher will meet you as you enter.  We ask that if you are new and plan on making this your home church, you fill out a registration card upon arriving.  We will then enter your child into our database so the teachers can check them in on a weekly basis.  Visitors can just sign their child's name, and who they came with, on the roster.

WORSHIP TIME:

Kids ages pre-school through 2nd grade will gather in one room for 15 minutes of worship time.  If you arrive late to your child's classroom and there is not a teacher waiting, we will be in room 206.  However, we will strive to do our best to make sure there is an adult in your child's room.

STORY TIME:

The kids will learn a Bible story from our Gospel Light Curriculum, which helps them learn about Jesus' role in our lives.  They will be encouraged to participate in discussions that will help them in their character development and spiritual growth.

OFFERING:

Our church supports two Children through Compassion International.  One in Haiti and the other in India.  We feel it's important that kids learn how to tithe at an early age so any amount they can bring each week is an answer to prayer.  We receive letters from these kids once a quarter and we encourage our kids to write back or if they are not able to write, to draw pictures.  We do take some time in class to do this, but they can do it from home and bring it in.

SNACKS:

Periodically, we provide peanut-free snacks, but not always , so please make sure your kids have a well balanced breakfast before coming to class.

PICK-UP PROCEDURES:

We will not release any child without a parent or older sibling picking them up.  We ask that you pick up your child promptly, as our teachers have children of their own to gather up.  Please make sure they have any personal items with them so they don't end up in "Lost and Found".
