KIDS HEALTH:
This is a well-baby program. For the protection of all the children in our ministry, we cannot accept a child with a runny nose, fresh cold (four days or less), fever, rash, persistent cough, diarrhea or any other signs of illness. Thank you in advance for helping us keep our Nursery a healthy place for all.
UPON ARRIVAL:
Parents must sign their child in, at which time the Nursery Worker will provide them with a name tag and claim tag. Please take the claim tag to retrieve your child at the conclusion of the service. At check-out, please sign your child out and gather any items you may have brought in (diaper, bag, bottles, sippy cups, blankets, etc.).
PAGERS:
If your child is apprehensive about staying with us, we will provide you with a pager to give you some peace of mind. If we cannot quiet your child within 15 to 20 minutes, we will page you. Sometimes all they need is some reassuring from Mom or Dad. You are then welcome to try and leave them again or take them with you.
SNACKS:
Snacks are provided for your children. We do not serve anything with peanuts, but if your child has any other kind of allergy, please notify us immediately. We will make sure this gets put on our check-in sheet.
CURRICULUM:
We do teach "Hands-On" curriculum for toddlers at the 9:30 hour only. They have a story time, craft time, snack time, quiet time and play time. If you are interested in helping out with this class you can contact me at 275-6867 or fill out our Ministry Volunteer Application online.
CHECKING ON YOUR CHILD:
Feel free to check on your child at any time during the service. However, we ask that you do so discreetly through our window. It is normal for little ones to cry when leaving a parent. This usually does not last long and separation becomes easier for them over time (and for you).
